Which organizations are housed at the Community Legal Center?

Project partners located at the Community Legal Center include "And Justice For All," the Disability Law Center, the Legal Aid Society of Salt Lake, the Senior Lawyer Volunteer Project, and Utah Legal Services.

What types of services are available at the Community Legal Center?

The organizations located at the Community Legal Center focus on civil legal aid for persons disadvantaged because of income, disability, or abuse. Participating agencies set priority areas based upon current needs and resources. Current services include assistance with matters involving family law, domestic violence, equal access to services for individuals with disabilities, access to public benefits, landlord-tenant issues, and will and medical directives for elderly populations.

How many advocates are housed at the Community Legal Center?

The Community Legal Center is currently designed to house just over 100 full-time attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. It provides ample room for projected growth for many years.

What are the hours of operation?

The Community Legal Center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except for holidays.

How do I make a donation to the Community Legal Center?

Donations are accepted in several forms, including checks, credit cards, and appreciated stock and property. For specific information, contact the Community Legal Center at (801) 924-3183.

What if I can't make a large donation?

The Community Legal Center is supported by small, medium, and large donations. The success of the Capital Campaign depends on broad-based community support. No donation is considered insignificant, whether it be for smaller amounts of money or in-kind products or services.
